Mike Capes

Mike Capes is an actor/writer/producer/director from Los Angeles. A graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Capes studied film production and theater, later training at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Capes recently starred in The Hacks of Life, which became the fastest-growing YouTube series in its first month of release. The success of the series has led to front-page features on Reddit, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, and numerous others. With only 12 episodes out, it averages over one million views per episode and the channel has 400,000+ subscribers. Previously, Capes starred in For The Win with Mike Capes, a “how-to” web series created by Defy Media. It was Defy’s most profitable and longest-running original series garnering millions of views. Currently Mike is a staff writer/lead actor in Rooster Teeth’s first live-action comedy series, Branded, in production at Austin Studios in Texas as well as writing and hosting the currently in production series, The Recruit for Circle 8 Productions.
